Most coats are engineered to look structured on a hanger and collapse the moment someone actually moves in them. This one was designed backward from movement — the shoulder pad is cut thinner than convention dictates, the double-faced wool eliminates the lining that usually restricts an arm's swing. It photographs almost identically still or in motion, which was the entire point.
Double-faced wool eliminates the need for a lining, a technique reserved for our most experienced tailors. Forty-two individual pattern pieces.
90% wool, 10% cashmere. Horn buttons. Made in our Naples atelier.
Origin — Naples, Italy
