“Wear with bare shoulders and nothing else competing for attention.”
This gown began as a single sketch: a woman walking into a room where nothing needed to be added. The bias cut was chosen specifically because it asks nothing of understructure — no boning, no built-in shaping — the fall of the silk does the work a corset would do on lesser cloth. It is, deliberately, the simplest gown in the atelier's history, which is precisely why it takes the longest to get right.
Pattern-cut on the bias by our senior atelier team, requiring eleven hours of hand and machine work per piece. The hem is rolled and slip-stitched entirely by hand.
100% silk crepe. Fully lined in silk charmeuse. Made in our Florence atelier.
