The rubber pitch set into the leather sole is a concession we resisted for years — leather-on-leather feels more traditional, but it doesn't survive a wet commute. The pitch is set flush enough that it's invisible until the shoe is turned over.
Goodyear welted, with a hand-burnished museum finish applied in three layers.
Calfskin upper. Leather sole, rubber-pitched. Made in our Northampton workshop.
